Hi! I’m Alanis Lara, a San Diego based, mixed media artist. I currently attend San Diego State University, where I am majoring in Graphic Design. I utilize a variety of mediums but mainly work with graphite, ink, and oil pastels.

I navigate through everyday life in my work, always empathizing with the experiences of others. As a way to cope with reality, I hope to express common unexplainable feelings, thoughts and emotions experienced by the majority of people.
